We have 919s from the 20 WEC seasons whereas the R18 and TS040 are both from the 2014 season, which is to say the 919s will have an advantage in every race.Īlso it’s worth mentioning the MC12 GT1 was supposed to launch with a few liveries from its racing career, but licensing complications meant they had to be pulled last minute. The one thing you may find annoying (if you’re as picky about this stuff as I am) is the R18 and TS040 LMP1 cars which look like they’d be the perfect competition for the two Porsche 919s we already have from the Porsche packs, but they aren’t perfect competitors. The new R8 LMS is a welcomed addition to extensive GT3 lineup, the LaFerrari FXX-K finally has competition in the form of the wild new P1 GTR, and the Celica ST185 Turbo can play with the existing Audi Sport Quattro S1 E2 on the game’s non-existent rally stages.Įven though some cars don’t exactly have competitors in the game already, like the 3-Eleven, the MC12 GT1 (the 911 GT1 we already have is from a different era and is much faster), and the obvious not-race-car-like 570S, they’re all still a joy to drive fast against anyone you can find. Several different racing disciplines are represented here and can expand the possibilities for racing with other existing cars.
