Will Travian follow? Game Development, Scaling Up The focus of Zynga India will be on game development and building up infrastructure to support Zynga’s games. The company has decided to set up its first international gaming studio in Bangalore, to tap local game developers and widen its userbase.
Zynga has 3 game studios, all based in the USA, at San Francisco, Los Angeles and Baltimore.
And this is just on Facebook: Zynga's games are also on MySpace, Bebo, Friendster, Tagged, My Yahoo! and Hi5, as well as on the iPhone too. The rush of Indians playing FarmVille has made a deep impression on Zynga, the makers of social games such as FarmVille, Mafia Wars, Vampires, Cafe World and FishVille which are, according to AppData, played by 60 million users across the world every day.
